What I do
Well, actually “neteinstein” is a username I’ve used since I was very young (it was actually the lamer NeTeInStEiN version… 😬).
In 1999, IRC was “the thing”. I started on DALnet and then moved to PTnet. Finding a free username wasn’t easy. I was very fond of Einstein, but it was taken, so… I ended up with this one. Since it was available on (almost) every platform, I kept using it… to this day, I guess.
This site started on Google Sites because I wanted something fast, simple and easy to update. Over time it became too limiting, so it now lives on GitHub Pages as a small static site: still fast, still simple, and a lot more fun to tinker with. Then again, I’m not building a rocket ship 🚀 (here, at least!)
I don’t take myself too seriously. We’re all going to die anyway, so don’t be too stiff about life. You’ll have much more fun!
